You can pay cashlessly with your student ID in all canteens and cafe-bars of your Studentenwerk Halle without the hassle of waiting.

At the cash registers, simply put your student ID on the reader or the cash register and the payment amount will be debited. When paying on the readers,you will hear a short beep sound and the traffic light will switch briefly to green.

Your card payment is in safe and good hands with us: we and the universities we supervise use only Mifare DESFire chip cards for student ID and payment cards. As of today, these are secure.
Your student ID card will be issued by your university. We therefore have no knowledge of your personal data and are therefore unable to draw any information from the payment data about the person to whom the cards belong.

We are gradually converting our reloaders from cash to giro cards. We follow your wishes and the trend towards increasingly cashless payments. The advantage for you: the cash that you have in your wallet does not end up in the charging machine, but can be used for other things, e.g. coffee, ice cream or copies.

With your Girocard (most people know it as an EC card) you can conveniently and securely recharge your student ID cashlessly in the following canteens:

Recharching is extremely easy: simply insert a student ID, select the amount to be charged and confirm with the yellow button at the bottom right of the display, insert the Girocard, enter the PIN, and you're done.
The upgrade is possible for 5 €, 10 €, 20 € and 30 € or 10 €, 20 €, 30 € and 50 €.

If you need a receipt, you can select it on the display after entering your PIN.
