The topic of depression is (unfortunately!) still tabooed, covered up, hushed up and sitted out. This is exactly the insidious thing about this mental illness or how to deal with it: as long as possible you try to deny it, to talk nicely. "But I am not always feeling that bad ...."
In the student self-help groups on the subject of "depression/depressed mood" you can exchange opinions among "like-minded people" about the disease. And about how to live well with it. Creating and finding unerstanding that is so often lacking "out there".
There are currently two self-help groups (SHG) active.
Please register in advance by e-mail to the self-help groups:
SHG 1 firstname.lastname@example.org
SHG 2: email@example.com
Do you also sometimes have fears and doubts in your studies? Then come to us. We call ourselves the Fümis - for and with each other - and talk together about worries in studies. The group offers the opportunity to exchange experiences, to discuss strategies for overcoming fears, and to gain more self-confidence by making contact with others who are affected by the same issues.
We meet every Tuesday at 7:30 pm until about 9:00 pm in the monastery of the HS Anhalt in Bernburg.
Please register with us in advance at: fuemis(at)hs-anhalt.de
