Daycare Weinberg

The work of our daycare is strongly oriented on the life-based approach (N.Huppertz). Early childhood education is a pedagogy of diversity.
Therefore, education in our daycare center does not anticipate school. An essential and indispensable part of the pedagogical concept is children's act of playing as active engagement with the environment.

The facility's environment is designed in the interest of children, so that everyone feels comfortable and happy to come to us.

The children we care for get a full board. Our facility has a large garden with a lot of trees. Appropriate fixed and movable playground equipment is available for all age groups.
During appropriate weather an entire day spent outside is possible.

Our day care facility has a capacity of 175 places, of which 75 places are for the nursery and the remaining 100 places for kindergarten.

Pedagogical concept

With completion of the qualification curriculum of selected daycare facilities Saxony-Ahalt, our daycare center has established its pedagogical concept since November 2012.

As part of this curriculum, various topics such as games and learning or familiarization and transition to school, which have a particular impact on the educational work in our daycare center, have been trained.

The training, which was attended by all kindergarten teachers, was professionally guided. The contents are significantly influenced by the latest scientific findings of developmental psychology.

We are proud of the successful completion of this qualification and the according certification, which attests that our educational programme "Bildung: elementar - Bildung von Anfang an" is implemented and lived at the highest level here.
